1. About Us

  • “We”, “Us”, “Our” refers to Wellington Tours
  • “You” or “Customer” means the person making the booking and all passengers
  • “Service” includes airport pick-up, drop-off, tours, transfers, and vehicle rentals

2. Bookings

  • All bookings are subject to availability and confirmation
  • You must provide correct details such as:
    • Passenger names
    • Contact number
    • Pick-up and drop-off address
    • Flight details (if applicable)
  • We are not responsible for issues caused by incorrect information

3. Airport Pick-Up

  • Flights are tracked using the provided flight number
  • Pick-up time may change if flights are delayed or arrive early
  • A waiting period (usually 30–60 minutes) is included
  • Extra waiting time may be charged
  • If passengers do not arrive or cannot be contacted, it may be treated as a no-show

4. Airport Drop-Off

  • You must choose a pick-up time that allows enough time for airport check-in
  • We are not responsible for missed flights due to:
    • Late pick-up requests
    • Traffic, weather, or road conditions

5. Prices & Payments

  • Prices are based on distance, vehicle type, time, and passengers
  • All prices are in NZD and include GST unless stated otherwise
  • Full payment may be required before service
  • Extra charges may apply for:
    • Waiting time
    • Extra stops
    • Excess luggage
    • Late-night or holiday services

6. Cancellations & Changes

  • Free cancellation is usually allowed up to 24–48 hours before service
  • Late cancellations may be charged partially or fully
  • Booking changes depend on availability and may change the price

7. No-Shows

  • If you do not arrive or cannot be contacted, the booking may be cancelled
  • No-shows may be charged 100% of the booking amount

8. Passenger Behaviour

  • Seatbelts must be worn at all times
  • Passengers must behave safely and respectfully
  • We may refuse service for unsafe, abusive, or illegal behaviour
  • No refund will be given in such cases

9. Luggage

  • Luggage must fit in the booked vehicle
  • We are not responsible for lost or damaged luggage unless caused by our fault
  • Forgotten items remain the passenger’s responsibility

10. Delays & Events Beyond Control

  • We are not responsible for delays caused by:
    • Traffic
    • Weather
    • Accidents
    • Road closures
    • Airport or security delays

11. Vehicle Rental (If Applicable)

  • Drivers must meet age and licence requirements
  • Only approved drivers may drive the vehicle
  • The vehicle must be used legally and safely
  • Fuel, tolls, fines, and cleaning costs are the renter’s responsibility
  • A security bond may be required
  • Insurance excess applies unless reduced coverage is purchased

12. Accidents & Damage

  • Any accident or damage must be reported immediately
  • Police reports are required for accidents or theft
  • Repairs must not be arranged without our approval

13. Tours & Activities

  • Tour routes and schedules may change due to safety or weather
  • Participants must follow guide instructions
  • Some activities involve risk; participation is at your own responsibility
  • Children must be supervised by adults

14. Photos & Marketing

  • We may take photos or videos during tours
  • These may be used for marketing unless you tell us in advance

15. Privacy

  • We collect and use personal information under the Privacy Act 2020
  • Information is used only for bookings and legal requirements

16. Liability

  • Our liability is limited to the cost of the booked service
  • We are not responsible for indirect losses or missed flights
  • Nothing limits your rights under the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993

17. Governing Law

  • These Terms are governed by New Zealand law
  • Any disputes will be handled by New Zealand courts

18. Acceptance

By booking or using our services, you confirm that you have read and accepted these Terms & Conditions.
